LTAHA Annual Convention April 6 in Woodworth

April 6, 2013: LTAHA Annual Convention
The annual Louisiana Trappers and Alligator Hunters Association Convention will be held April 6, 2013, at the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Rifle Range in Woodworth Louisiana. This is Exit 73 on Interstate 49/Robins Bridge Rd.

The event will began at 7:30 am with Meet and Greet and breakfast. Demos will begin at 8:30am as Johnny Price gives a mink trapping demo. Next up at 9:30 is a coyote trapping demo. Also at 9:30am, Wesley Blanchard will provide a kids trapping class with demos.
At 10:30am, a question and answer session regarding all aspects of trapping will be held by John Linzay and Steve Hughes.

At 11:30am, Michael Consiglio will give a presentation on the Louisiana fur market.

Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon.

At 1:00 pm is the General meeting followed by Executive Session of Board of Directors.

While the board is in Executive Session, the Youth Trap Setting Contest will take place. Speed trap setting/quality trap setting for youth.
From 2:00 to 4:00 pm, the Silent Auction ends. The Live Auction begins after Trap Setting Contest.

4:00 pm Clean up.

DIRECTIONS: Take the LA-3265/PR-22 exit, EXIT 73, toward Woodworth. Turn onto Robinson Bridge Rd/LA-3265 W. Drive approximately 1.5 miles. On the left you will see the LDWF shooting range. Watch your speed, check your inspection sticker, brake lights and over all health of your vehicle, Woodworth Police are looking for anything to write tickets for.
